If you know exactly how to handle a “sitter” volley, it’s actually quite manageable. In fact, it’s EASY. I today’s lesson, Brady discusses the 3 main ways club players botch “sitter” volleys.

I found a shot that works for me with a shoulder high sitter that bounces anywhere between the net and the service line. In pickleball I think it is called a scorpion shot. I move up to the ball and bend at the knees so that the shot can be turned into a overhead. I have had great success with it.
Everything you said is so true . No wonder why I miss those easy slams .
Good suggestions…this is very helpful especially in windy conditions. I love these videos
Great advice!! Thank you!!!
DECORUM — Noun: behavior in keeping with good taste and propriety
I laughed out loud when you were dissecting Mistake # 3. The single thought that I want in my mind when I’m about to execute some sitter volley probably should be this one: How to keep from making a total fool of myself by hauling off and “blasting” this shot as other club members closely watch my match from the clubhouse porch while they sip cold beers?
In other words, maintain decorum at all times !
