I notice on the WTA tour, even top level pros will literally go down to their knee on the court to hit a topspin BH. The men don’t seem to do this. Is this because of lack of confidence in the slice BH shot?
I like to approach down the line with the slice backhand. I try to hit it deep with pace and with as much underspin as possible — old school Australians.
New school. I like Federer’s slice down the line which breaks to the left. It is fun to watch lefty Nadal and Federer both hittings this shot to each other down the west side of the court.
