In my experience failure typically comes from hitting ball out and long because grip pressure was not loosened up enough. Need to absorb emergy of incoming ball

I play against guys who rip it a lot harder than your demo. I agree with your technique; however, I think there is a lot more to it. For me, the hardest shot is the one hit directly at me….not always easy to get the racquet in the right position….preferably more backhand. The other problem is keeping the ball in the court. The speed of the ball usually gets a reflex response but how to manage that without the ball flying out? Especially true if the ball is dipping or coming low.
I would like to know what to do when ball is drilled at your R hip. No time to move, and if I do move, then I’m late. Seems too far to the R to take a backhand. Appreciate your thoughts.
