The two-handed backhand can feel a bit restricting for some, especially when attempting to generate power. In today’s lesson, Brady demonstrates 3 keys for hitting for more power on your two-hander. (*Error correction: non-dominant hand uses eastern FOREHAND grip, not eastern backhand)

    Very clearly explained and particularly useful, as I have just started playing again since the beginning of r the COVID pandemic. Annoyingly enough, I find myself doing most of the “Donts” you are talking about.

    Would you not get even more power on the two handed backhand by letting your left hand slide all the way down to a true forehand grip as though you were a left-handed forehand hitter? To do that, you would have to open up the thumb in first two fingers to allow the left hand to simply slide down the racket stem to assume that position. Opinion?
